There are many styles of 3D environments used for turn-by-turn navigation. I wanted to create a style that showcases all the data vehicles are capable of collecting and giving that data to the driver. This could be used to show all the objects a vehicle
The city was created from a collection of building models that were positioned into a single city block, then duplicated into a grid layout to form the entire city. Random order and rotation along with swapping of models were used to create a wide variety of blocks so no two are the same.
Real physical sun and sky lighting along with an HDRI map was used to light the scene.
